Five years ago, after a lifetime of competitive distance running, I began to experience debilitating pain in my neck and hip after running. My physical therapist referred me to Zach to build a strength program that would help me build up my shoulders, core and hips to mitigate my pain. And that’s just what Zach did. Thanks to his expertise, I’ve enjoyed years of pain-free running. But I gained more than that through my work with Zach. Because of his programs, I’ve found that I enjoy strength training almost as much as running, and (with Zach’s help) I’ve set and begun to achieve new strength goals that have little to do with running. Having worked with several other personal trainers, I can say that Zach has to be one of the best in New York. He’s professional, knowledgable and motivating. He’s also been flexible with me, as someone who can’t afford regular sessions, creating programs I can follow on my own.
